Students will learn to understand and explain differences between shareholder and stakeholder frameworks of capitalism and what that means for organizations using the triple bottom line of people, planet, profit to communicate about their organization’s performance and reputation. Connections between business, communication, social impact, and sustainability will be explored. Students will learn to understand and design different types of CSR and ESG reporting and how to clearly communicate a CSR or social impact strategy.
