Course offers a foundation in black & white film photography. Camera use, film exposure & processing, and printing processes will be explained and demonstrated. Provides a technical & conceptual understanding of photography as a visual medium for expression and communication of ideas.

Approved for Letter and S/U grading. May be repeated in separate terms up to 6 hours. Prerequisite: Enrollment is restricted to students in Living Learning Communities and minors in Art + Design.
