Credit: 2 hours.

Class instruction to enable students to demonstrate proper technique and a characteristic sound on two bowed string instruments (violin or viola, and cello or double bass) in order to teach, via demonstration, beginning string students toward their maximum technical and musical development.

May be repeated to a maximum of 4 hours. Prerequisite: For music education majors only, with two semesters required for music education string majors.
