Introduction to the occurrence and movement of groundwater through the earth's crust; topics include aquifers and porous media, fluid flow and solute transport, well installation, groundwater contamination, recharge/discharge, irrigation and hydrocarbon resources.

Same as ESE 470. 4 undergraduate hours. 4 graduate hours. Prerequisite: MATH 220 or MATH 221; senior standing is recommended; or consent of instructor.
