Examines principles of financial planning applied to individuals and households, with attention to organizing and analyzing financial information, budgeting, acquiring financial assets, managing credit, planning for taxes, investments, risk management, retirement, and estate planning.

Prerequisite: Sophomore standing or consent of instructor.

Section Info:
Specifically a fast paced personal finance class looking at risk, wealth management, credit and budgeting in an energetic eight week class. The class will include de guest experts from across the country. The class will have live/synchronous lectures twice a week on Monday and Wednesday at 2pm. Lectures are highly encouraged but optional, and will be archived. Students will be earning three credit hours over eight weeks and should be ready for a rigorous, applied and relevant work-load.
