Want to get more out of your student media experience? Via weekly critiques and brainstorming and problem-solving sessions, this very professionally focused, seminar-style class seeks to help editors at independent student media develop more effective strategies for leading efforts to produce professional, compelling and enterprising news coverage and for addressing unique challenges and opportunities present in modern student media. No specific classroom experience is required, but students enrolling in this experiential learning course should have some ongoing role with an independent, student-run media organization. Please note: Instructor will be in contact with an online (synchronous) meeting time, but course will likely meet Thursdays in late afternoon or early evening. Prerequisite: Permission of instructor
