This course is the second of a two-part event management capstone series. The first class (460) covered the core basics from idea generation to successful completion. This course will build on experiences covered in 460 and will include the event experience, the role of the manager, event planning, legal aspects, staff management and budgeting. In addition teams of students will continue to work with their assigned agency by implementing and evaluating their two semester planning and completion of a community or campus event.
