Learn statistical methods for applied economics. Focus will be on answering questions with the multiple regression model. We cover common econometric problems. The course also covers an introduction to the statistical language R. All exercises will be conducted in R and RStudio, but no prior experience in R is expected or required. Prerequisite: ACE 261 or ECON 202 or equivalent.

Section Info:
Travel to Europe to study International Perspectives on Commodity Risk Management, which teaches students about the measurement and management of risks resulting from the volatility of both commodity prices and of foreign exchange rates. In Europe students will visit and interact with prominent commodity market participants as well as derivatives markets operators and regulators and will attend a 3-day teaching and research seminar at the University of Paris-Dauphine. Students registered in this section pay a study abroad fee assessed through the ACES Study Abroad Office.
