Section Info: Topic: The course will focus on the most recent publications of canonical Chicano/Latino writers: Richard Rodríguez, Junot Diaz, Luis Alberto Urrea, among others. The students will focus on how these writers navigate contemporary discussions on immigration, identity, me-too movement, social constructions of masculinity, etc. Students will learn how a focused analysis of gender, ethnicity and class affects the construction of Latino identity formation.
