Tropical Ag Study Tour
Section Info:
Learn about tropical agricultural systems in this 2nd 8 week course. After the in-classroom component, students will travel to Hawaii from January 2nd-January 13th to experience tropical agriculture first-hand, including visits to sustainable agriculture sites, a dairy farm, poi production, coffee, pineapple, and macadamia nut plantations. Students will also learn about Hawaiian culture and visit Maui, Hilo, and Honolulu. Group travel is arranged, and extra course fees apply.
