Credit: 4 hours.

Examines the historical roots, contemporary controversies, current trends, and possible futures of the curriculum in American postsecondary education. It is a graduate seminar built on small group discussions and conversations about important literature on the changing college curriculum. Increases student understanding of historical and contemporary curricular issues in higher education with the additional goal of fostering the consideration of the possibilities of challenges to enacting curricular change.

Prerequisite: EOL 571 or consent of instructor.
