Credit: 3 hours Section Title: Field Stud Convect Argentina Section Info: Students will learn about planning and executing field research in atmospheric sciences and travel to near Cordoba, Argentina to participate in a large field research campaign near to study convection. Students will gain experience using state of the art instrumentation, learn about proposing and planning a complex field campaign, and discuss the scientific objectives and measurement strategies with leading scientists via webinars during the course and during the field experient. This course includes a mandatory 6-7 days field trip. Additional Fees may apply. See Class Schedule. Approved for S/U grading only. Prerequisite: ATMS 201. Enrollment only with consent of instructor. Fees $3300 (subject to change)
