Topic: "Fascism, Religion, America." Meets with REL 494 & AAS 490. What is fascism? Can the study of religion help us understand fascism? How do fascism and religion bear on America? Addressing these and other important questions, this interdisciplinary seminar moves through relevant readings in political theory, rhetorical analysis, cultural history, postcolonial literature, and investigative journalism.
