KSADS Seminar
Section Info:
This seminar will focus on evidence-based assessment approaches to mental health in children, adolescents, and adults. Readings and discussion will focus mostly on core issues related to evidence-based assessment, using interview and questionnaire methods, with multiple informants (youth and caregivers) in child psychopathology. There will be a practical, experiential component in which you will learn to reliably conduct semi-structured psychiatric diagnostic interviews, especially focused on anxiety and depression, with youth and adults. You will conduct these interviews and receive ongoing clinical supervision as part of an ongoing randomized clinical trial for personalized depression prevention among youth.
