ACES Horticulture 298 Winter Break Study Tour/Travel to MOROCCO: Two week trip to Morocco, where you will learn about the diverse cultures and agriculture of this beautiful North African country. During the trip you travel to the historical cities of Marrakech, Fez, and Meknes, visit local markets and small farms growing horticultural and agronomic crops, learn about the Berber culture, and meet with fellow students at an agrarian university. You will also trek through the sand dunes of Merzouga on a camel back. The trip will be from December 28 – January 11, 2017 with depart and return through Chicago.
