Credit: 4 hours.

Required laboratory course focused on the practice of synthesizing expertise in choreography, physical practice, teaching, written and oral communication, and creative career planning. Critical theory and inquiry will be intertwined with rigorous examination of performance and construction of dance-making. Issues of sustaining practice, testing and conveying one's mission and vision, and elaborating on one's individual research in relationship to the field will be emphasized.

May be repeated up to 8 hours in separate terms. Spring and Fall terms, even years. Prerequisite: Graduate standing in Dance required.
