Psychoanalytic Theory Then and Now This seminar proposes an extensive examination of some foundational texts of Freudian and Lacanian theory accompanied by recent readings/ rereadings of their premises. We will continually attempt to evaluate the weight of ideological frameworks, including medicine and the sciences, in their elaborations.
