The principles of the management of beef cattle enterprises. Applies science and technology to the breeding, selection, feeding, health and production of beef and beef products. Emphasizes the use of research findings in decision-making.
3 undergraduate hours. 3 graduate hours. Credit is not given for both ANSC 401 and ANSC 213. Prerequisite: ANSC 223 or equivalent.
