This course teaches the theory and techniques of input-output analysis with hands-on experience in applications to economic and environmental issues. Input-output measures linkages and the propagation of a (economic or environmental) shock across sectors and regions of an economy. It is commonly used for economic impact analysis, transportation planning, disaster relief, energy forecasing, environmental analysis (pollution attribution) and social accounting models.
