During this course students will learn about common behavior problems in dogs and cats. Students will also learn how to consult with owners in order to modify their dog or cat's behavior and will gain practical experience answering owner questions via email. Structured out of class work will be required. Students are expected to spend time answering owner questions and students will also be asked to assist with in-person behavior consultations as needed. Prerequisite: ANSC 307.

During this course students will focus on learning how to help owners improve the relationship with their pet. Students will also learn how to consult with owners in order to modify their dog or cat's behavior and will gain practical experience answering owner questions via email. Students are expected to spend time answering owner questions and students will also be asked to assist with in-person behavior advice as needed. There will be two Saturday field trips required for this course. Prerequisite: ANSC 307. Class will be held in 102 ASL.
