Broad historical survey of the formation and impact of Christian and Jewish Bibles through the centuries. Designed to give students an academic setting for investigating the complex (and ongoing) history of the Bible. Two guiding questions will be: How have historical developments informed different versions of the Bible: How have versions of the Bible informed cultural and political developments?
