Socialization and Development

Credit: 4 hours.

Presents and uses theories of socialization to evaluate and analyze current issues and socialization practices; delineates historical and philosophical trends in socialization, and discusses the implications of these trends for generating social policy affecting the developing individual.

4 undergraduate hours. 4 graduate hours. Prerequisite: HDFS 301.
