Topic: De-Bug Your Brain: Thinking about Computer Science is designed for students enrolled in CS 125 who are new to programming and are looking for extra help in a small classroom setting. Classes meet weekly for 2 hours. This one credit course shows how to analyze algorithms, solve computational problems, debug and write complete working programs. Examples will be drawn from material covered in CS 125. Requires concurrent enrollment in CS 125.

K12 IT Concepts
Section Info:
In this service-learning course, students will help teachers in elementary and/or middle schools to teach various IT concepts. In addition, students will learn to program in the Etoys environment, and help teach Etoys programming to sixth-grade students. The course will have a single 2-hour meeting each week with the instructor, plus one or two meetings in the classroom. Students wishing to take this course for only 1 credit hour should contact the instructor.
