Focus on political and social issues, such as bilingual education, acculturation and assimilation, language loss and language maintenance in two immigrant languages,Turkish and Arabic/Berber, and four indigenous language families: Balto-Slavic with Estonian, Celtic, Romance with Basque, and Slavic with Hungarian.
