The conceptual framework of source-sink dynamics integrates aspects of population biology and landscape ecology and has applications to habitat management and biodiversity conservation. In this seminar, we will survey current ideas of source-sink dynamics across landscapes in relation to three main themes: 1) Source-sink theory, 2) Advances in source-sink methodology, and 3) Management based on source-sink concepts. For graduate students or advanced undergraduates with permission of the instructor.
