Focuses on the experiences of United States cities and towns undergoing rapid demographic economic, social, and cultural changes and the local responses to those changes, including local policy making, land-use regulations, community controversy, and grassroots activism.
Same as SOCW 335. Prerequisite: UP 260 for urban planning majors/minors, upper division undergraduate standing or consent of instructor.
