Offers basic information on skeletal muscle anatomy, physiology and function which will provide a basis for understanding changes in muscle structure and function during periods of increased or decreased us. Knowledge gained in this course can be used in areas such as design of training programs, physical therapy, or injury prevention.

3 undergraduate hours. 4 graduate hours. Prerequisite: The student is expected to have taken at least one or more of the following: MCB 103, MCB 240, KIN 352 or prior consent of the instructor.
