Credit: 3 hours.

Supervised practice in observing, assisting, and teaching children in elementary, junior high school, and senior high school. Emphasis is on understanding motor behavior, teacher-learner behavior, and interrelatedness with other aspects of the learning environment.

May be repeated to a maximum of 6 hours. Prerequisite: Junior standing or above and enrollment in the Teacher Certification program or consent of the instructor.

Students are expected to complete 60 hours of lab experience during the term. Most sessions will meet at Holy Cross School. Students must arrange for and allow travel time to and from Holy Cross School, Champaign. Labs do not meet until after the first lecture.
