This course is designed to help improve the sustainability of future biosystems with an emphasis on a global understanding of the challenges and potential solutions. Students will work in small teams with peers from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayag�ez on practical engineering-based projects with potential impact on sustainability. Open to engineering and non-engineering majors. http://biomasslab.illinois.edu/BioMASS/Sustainable_Biosystems_International.html First Year Discovery Program Course. Registration restricted to freshmen. Students should enroll in only one Discovery course.
