Outlines the social psychological parameters which influence behavior and performance in sport; emphasizes the impact of social influences upon the individual within the sport context, including such factors as achievement motivation, competition, anxiety, aggression, and personality.

Same as PSYC 447. 3 undergraduate hours. 4 graduate hours. Prerequisite: KIN 140, KIN 247, or PSYC 201, or graduate standing, or consent of instructor.
