Groundwater Modeling

Credit: 4 hours.

Theory and application of numerical methods, finite differences and finite element, for solving the equations of groundwater flow and solute transport; transport of chemically reacting solutes; model calibration and verification.

Prerequisite: CEE 457 and MATH 285.
