Why is the U of I such a highly regarded university? Why are faculty here? What do they do other than teach, and how important is this other stuff to the University's reputation? Why is diversity important? What happens to students in college? Does the student culture support the University?s educational vision? Should the university play a parental role in students' lives? Why do we pay so much attention to sports? For a more in-depth description of this course go to https://netfiles.uiuc.edu/hschein/www/ .Students with questions about the course should contact the instructor: hschein@illinois.edu
