Latin American Literatures II

Credit: 3 hours.

Critical analysis of selected texts and periods representative of Latin American literary production from 1800 to present, with special attention paid to broader literary and cultural contexts. Specific sections may emphasize critical topics such as gender, ideology, literary form, nationalisms, race, sexuality.

Prerequisite: SPAN 250
