Basic principles of genetics, physiology, nutrition, and health of avian species; the application of science and technology in solving the breeding, nutrition, disease, housing, and other management problems encountered in commercial egg and poultry meat production.

Undergraduate and graduate students must complete research project to obtain 4 hours.
