This course will examine concepts of representation, legitimacy, sovereignty, human rights, belonging, citizenship and the purblic domain as they relate to the special case of sub-national democracy. Undergraduate students register for Geog 390, section DAE. Graduate students register for GEOG 595, section DAE.
