This cours will examine concepts of representation, legitimacy, sovereignty, human rights, belonging, citizenship and the public domain as they relate to the special case of sub-national democracy. Meets with GEOG 595. Graduates register for GEOG 595, section DAE. Undergraduates register for GEOG 390, section DAE.
