Topic: Moving Design. In the spirit of fusing design research and art? we as a group of students from different disciplines will engage in initiatives that are designed to present relevant new ideas to shape the public?s point of view. This class of interdisciplinary designers will explore a variety of Moving Design initiatives during the in-depth and intensive semester each intent of exploring new design thinking in light of the big issues we confront. Each class of self-propelled designers and artists will be catalyzed, critiqued, and observed virtually by Rick Valicenti, AIGA Medalist and Fellow. Rick will be present at the beginning, middle, and end of the semester. Moving Design was founded by Rick Valicenti + John Pobojewski, Moving Design is focused on expanding the culture of design by mentoring the next design generation, and leading the discourse within the design profession. Through creative research initiatives on a collection of topics, Moving Design encourages innovation through experimentation, keen observation, and intense curiosity. $95 Facilities Charge.
