Focuses on current cochlear implant technologies, principles of evidence-based practice of cochlear implant assessment and intervention by audiologists and speech-language pathologists, and empirical outcomes for children and adults. Students complete a comprehensive case study project to demonstrate critical analysis of the literature and application to clinical practice.

Prerequisite: Graduate standing in the Department of Speech and Hearing Science.
