Brazilian Families Study Tour
Section Info:
. Family Strengths and Challenges in Brazil. Eight-week preparatory course examines Brazil's history and social conditions. Study tour includes visits to Porto Alegre, Curitiba and Rio de Janeiro, with intensive study, discussion, fields trips, cultural events and experiences working with institutions providing services to families and youth. Instructor approval required - contact the instructor Dr. Marcela Raffaelli at mraffael@illinois.edu or the ACES Study Abroad Office at 333-3638 for application. Application required by December 1, 2008. Additional fee $3,750 to $4,250. Travel dates July 29-August 14, 2009 (approx.).
