Introduces the Alexander Technique: a practical method for changing habitual movement patterns which interfere with coordination, ease, and efficiency of movement. The course focuses on learning the principles through hands-on work, readings, discussions, and application to dance. 1-3 individual lessons outside of class required per term.

Prerequisite: Major standing in Dance or consent of instructor.
