Externship at a general private veterinary practice in the United States. This elective clinical rotation will expose students to primary and preventive veterinary medical care of small and/or large animals in a private practice setting, and will familiarize students with the business and operational aspects of private practice.

Approved for S/U grading only. May be repeated in the same or subsequent terms to a maximum of 3 hours. Prerequisite: All preclinical and paraclinical core courses in the veterinary medicine professional curriculum.
