Laboratories on large animal restraint, physical examination, and basic diagnostic techniques. Animal handling and animal husbandry will be emphasized to allow students to more safely handle large animals in clinical settings later in the veterinary curriculum.

Prerequisite: First-year standing in the veterinary medicine curriculum.
