Biological Control
Credit: 3 hours.
Biological control is an exercise in applied ecology that is a powerful tool in the management of natural resources and in pest management. The course will highlight the theory behind this discipline and the current and potential applications. Students will also get an understanding of a practical biological control program. Same as CPSC 477. Offered in alternate years. Prerequisite: IB 444 or IB 482; or consent of instructor.
