Note: This course is open only to graduate students in the Advertising major. Topic: Globalization and Consumer Culture. The purpose of this course is to familiarize students with the key theories of globalization and their application to studying consumer culture. Students will learn to examine advertising messages from an international perspective and will increase their sophistication in studying different cultural, social and political aspects of consumer culture.
