Credit: 2 OR 4 hours.

Detailed study of the role of technology in music instruction. Students will evaluate hardware and software, build multimedia applications, explore music resources on the Internet, and work with MIDI technology. Course is geared to today's music educator who needs to adapt to a continually evolving instructional environment. Includes an in-depth analysis of the philosophical and instructional implications of technology.

Prerequisite: MUS 243 or consent of instructor.
