Evaluates criteria for woody landscape plant selection, cultivation, valuation, and maintenance; links the technical skills and practices for commercial arborists to an understanding of woody plant physiology and anatomy; emphasizes marketing and promotion of horticultural expertise. Offered in alternate years.

Prerequisite:NRES 302 or HORT 301 or concurrent enrollment and NRES 201.
