CHEM 102
Summer 2005 All Classes
Credit: 3 hours.
(CHEM 101) For students who have some prior knowledge of chemistry. Principles governing atomic structure, bonding, states of matter, stoichiometry, and chemical equilibrium; descriptive chemistry of the elements and coordination compounds.
Students may not receive credit for both CHEM 102 and CHEM 202. Prerequisite: Credit in or exemption from MATH 012; one year of high school chemistry or equivalent.
To complete enrollment in CHEM 102, students must enroll in one LCD section alone OR pick a combination of LEC and Q sections and enroll in both. All students should also enroll in CHEM 103. Engineering students must obtain a dean's approval to drop this course after the second week of instruction.
