(V B 311) Course covers the biology and medicine of representative aquatic animals including: cetaceans, crocodilians, Florida Manatee, freshwater and marine fish and invertebrates, sea turtles, pinnipeds and sharks. Special emphasis is placed on extended off-campus (2 weeks) field trips and student interactions with aquatic animal medicine professionals.

Prerequisite: Senior standing in professional veterinary curriculum.
