(MUSIC 408) Study of the application of psychological principles to the teaching of and responses to music; perceptual and conceptual learning in music; uses of music in extra-musical venues, musical abilities, and music preference.

Prerequisite: Graduate standing in music education and successful completion of MUS 533 or the equivalent, or consent of instructor.
