(MATSE 204) Study of the electronic structure and bonding of materials, electrical conduction in metals and semiconductors, and dielectric and magnetic properties of solids.

Credit is not given for both MSE 304 and PHYS 460. (Students may substitute PHYS 460 for MSE 304 as part of the Materials Science and Engineering degree requirements) Prerequisite: PHYS 214 and junior standing in science or engineering; or consent of instructor.
